Open Bulk send at /desk/bulk. Pick a workspace template, paste or upload a CSV of names and emails, map the columns, preview the count, and start the job. Inkpacket creates a separate envelope for each unique email. Duplicate emails in the list are sent once. That is duplicate-email honesty: the same address twice is one envelope, the preview count is unique addresses, and opening Billing will not “charge twice for a repeated row.”
Why the paste box stops at one hundred unique addresses is why a bulk send job stops at 100 unique emails. How columns map is bulk send CSV column mapping. What once covers
- Each unique email becomes one envelope. Later copies of that address are skipped.
- The preview count is envelopes, not lines. A 40-line paste with two duplicates and a blank is 37 envelopes, not 40.
- Retrying a job skips rows that already sent. The same person does not get a second link from that job.
- Rows without a usable email are skipped. A blank is not an envelope and not a duplicate.
Starting the job is not automatically fifty sends. Each unique sent row counts. Free allows 5 packets a month. A duplicate skip does not return HTTP 402 ENVELOPE_LIMIT. A row that would exceed the monthly cap does. A job accepts 100 unique emails. Duplicates do not consume that one hundred. An optional access code (4–32 characters, no spaces) applies to every recipient in that job. If start fails after create, the desk says Job created, but sending did not finish. Open that job and retry. A sent row means the envelope exists.
What this is not
- Not A job accepts 100 unique emails. One hundred is unique addresses. This article is the repeated row.
- Not Job created, but sending did not finish. That job already existed. Retry it.
- Not a second envelope on Documents → new. Bulk send is one template, many unique envelopes.
- Not checkout. Billing is not open. Paying a listed price does not mint a twin for a repeated email.
If invite email was not sent, open that envelope and copy the signing link. Reminders go out by email today. Text-message (SMS) is coming soon. Email still soft-fails on the unique send, not on the skipped duplicate. Text-message (SMS) is coming soon. Drive archive waits for completed. Stripe off: Payments not live. None of those flags turn a repeated address into a second envelope. Jobs stay inside the current organization.
The click-path
- Open Bulk send. Map name and email. Read the preview count before you start.
- If two lines share an address, expect one envelope. Do not open Billing for a twin.
- Start the job. Retry skips rows that already sent.
- If a unique row returns HTTP 402 ENVELOPE_LIMIT, that is the monthly cap, not the duplicate skip.
- On a phone, Bulk send is a drawer row. A repeated email is still one envelope. Help is not a drawer row — it stays in the header.
